Welcome to Grade Six!

The purpose of this website is to facilitate better communication between myself, students and parents. The website includes common information about my classroom and our schedule this year. It is a work in progress so please be patient! My door is always open. 

Third Term is here and 6B is excited to be back at school. The students are currently working through a geometry and measurement unit in math. In language arts, we will be continuing to work on essay writing skills. We are in the process of finishing the unit, "A Better World" and will soon be starting our Thief Lord novel study. Exreme environments and Japan are on the agenda for science and socials. In religion, the students are continuing their Old Testament studies and learning about the ancient prophets and judges. There is also a large emphasis on decision making and moral reasoning in the last part of the year. I hope everyone had an excellent Spring Break. From the sounds of it, an OLPH student and their family visiting just about every continent of the world during Spring Break! As always, I'm available to discuss your child's performance.
